Zach Wasilew is a seasoned M&A professional in for-profit higher education and education institutions serving students of early childhood education, K-12, and special education. Mr. Wasilew began his career in higher education, serving as the lead of Corporate Development for Rasmussen University. He acquired and built new campus locations, which assisted in the expansion of enrollment from 1,800 students to 18,000 students.

Wasilew has concluded a variety of M&A transactions, acquiring or selling on behalf of the educational institutions, strategic acquirers, or private equity investors. As lead of M&A in these transactions, Wasilew managed all negotiations, compliance, government affairs, financing, and the management of the buyer-seller relationship before, during, and after the transaction. Additionally, he has overseen transactions involving conversions between for-profit and non-profit tax status.

He has served as the Chief Financial Officer of a residential school serving students with special needs. Mr. Wasilew has also managed a business unit for a NYSE exchange-traded publicly held provider of education services.
