LUKAS WENRICK, M.ED.

Lukas Wenrick spends his days working to develop innovative solutions to the most complex issues colleges universities face. Lukas first became interested in higher education mergers as a graduate student where he began exploring the impact that mergers had on the personnel involved. He worked with then President David Chard of Wheelock College to write a case study on their successful merger with Boston University. His work was published through the Harvard Education Publishing Group in 2018.

In addition to his work with HCS, Lukas leads a team of innovators at Arizona State University who incubate and advance “discovery-stage” solutions for the university. The team serves as a catalyst for creativity and innovation, enabling the Learning Enterprise at ASU to explore and develop cutting-edge educational initiatives and programs. He has successfully led numerous multi-million dollar projects and has scaled his programs to hundreds of thousands of learners.

Lukas is finalizing a doctorate in Leadership and Innovation from the Mary Lou Fulton College for Teaching and Learning Innovation at Arizona State University. He holds a Master's of Education in Higher Education from the Harvard Graduate School of Education, a Bachelor of Arts in Social Science Education from Wright State University, and a Graduate Certificate in Advanced Analytics in Higher Education from Arizona State University. His experiences at an open-access public university, a national service university, and an elite private institution inform the work he does each day.
